This medical situation has zero touch points to Covid.. I on the other hand contemplate one year ago and Covid hospitalization with Pneumonia and a home and Kaiser test saying Covid. A different planet now..

A life lived and parable. I have on Pancreatic tail a tumor found in 2013. I also as consequence am diabetic. I rejected medicine other than insulin...No surgery

Tumor has shrunk roughly 1/,4th in 10 years.

She does not wish for unfavorable result

Decide and KNOW.

You are correct of course, we decide and hope that we know.

No other way to deal with any of this.

Gotta believe in one's own judgement.

It's our way of not feeling that we are a victim.

We do need our friends to support us and help in the decision.

Because really we just don't know.

Many many mysteries. First mystery is weakness and mobility and memory. A brain mass not present 7 years ago present.. Gradual weakness over 11 months present. No medical reason to stay. Discharge possible. Even Elevator repaired. Decision made otherwise. And in allowing thoughts to change direction both mine and hers I now bow deeply. No one knows outcomes.

The fate of man requires a learned astrologer who can discern the Sun Sign and ill omened moon. Second best a Kaiser neurosurgeon. My input tests the limits. Go learned doctors to find happiness. Is happiness found in your box? What. You cannot say? You say surgery benefits. Then you say you are only basing this on paying neurosurgeons who still practice medicine.

My wife wants her old life. Not available you say. I agree.. I improve it. Now why cut when you say maybe maybe not? You finally admit you prefer cutting. I object but wife agreed and now on the 13th she is cut and on 12th transported. Only though over night.

Then home.

Gosh, only overnight to recover from brain surgery.

Yet two weeks in hospital waiting for it.

Your wife's will to live is strong, so is her faith in surgeons.

Hope for the best as there's no alternative.

Exactly right sold as TINA.

And after that cataclysmic moment that would have been worse no other option. The joke is big money is made in TINA. Fauci testified at the Soweto Truth and Reconciliation Enquiry that he was a victim of DOD who in turn was a completely Chinese run operation. He admitted he did not understand this before arrest and Testimony. The best journalists think he might be Pardoned.

Thanks for letting me know in next minute comment that satire is afoot.

Pretty telling isn't it that I was prepared to believe that we had moved on to the next stage.

Of course I share your skepticism regarding *long Covid*, but I can sense that your spouse does not.

For what it's worth I have similar situation in my family.

And us skeptical ones also don't like to force our beliefs on others.

Because we don't claim to have all the answers.

We don't actually *know* anything, and maybe that thought will fit with your philosophical turn of mind.

I don't try to convince anyone of anything, just let them know that if they have doubts then I am here with doubts aplenty.

I have not kept up to date with this BIG Fauci story, but I assume that you are being ironical.

I don't know what TINA is, but I could look it up.

I don't know about you but I hate it when one is having an in depth conversation with someone and both are enjoying finding the answer from their heads and then someone goes and * Google's* it killing the whole brain business.

But why do I have to think about that annoying woman whom I knew called Tina?

And such a name sounds like a small person, but this was no tiny.
