Me too. The die is cast. Overall the situation is she is in a half life and surgery is expected to enable recovery to full life. If so she comes home. If no she does not. Right now without surgery she is in the no coming home zone. With we pray otherwise. And so few surgeries are done we must guess that the medical profession is correct. The frenzy over Covid may not extend to brain surgery per se. Only over rehab. I do not know.
The humans are more at risk in reducing the biology of this planet. Behind the scenes, accepted by most, with chemicals on the landscape, sterilized food, pills and injections, humans really are at a crossroads.
Continue this listless lifestyle to complete atrophy, or go back to successive biology.

EMPs will be likely used only in heavily-populated areas marked for extinction as long as they couldn't exist without exectricity.
