I think we sport a pigs face, most closely. Maybe with a bit of horse and goat thrown in. I am greatly saddened that the mask fallacies continue, but I don't try to talk to fearful and ignorant people, I just let them suffocate.
At the community level people are choosing some idea of *safety* over freedom of communication.
This desire for privacy as safety, is something I am trying to argue against.
I'm still working out my argument. But in the situation I am speaking of people don't want their neighbours to know their email address but want all communication to be under the gate keeper property manager control.
So if the nazi-style property manager wants to do a lockdown and have a guard on the gate, well, none of the owners/residents can communicate with others to mount any sort of resistance.
