This brings warm tears to my eyes, the brutality that we have all sustained, acknowledged or non, that has destroyed most all semblance of health, balance, and calm, loving sanity, and The Family, and the worthy traditions shared within.

I know that these are not mere pipedreams, as I may still witness hidden pockets of such, though all is to appear as rapidly dwindling.

I'm very tired of having to be indignant, and of maintaining the will to shed a worthy tear or two. At least I don't wear myself out faking this life, and would rather wear myself out in this way, if I must choose between a soft, false life, or a tortured Real Life.

I must not allow myself to be reduced in the manner that those aligned with wickedness would have me be.

I must persevere til the (bitter?) end.

It seemed like youthful rebellion to scorn tradition.

But now that everyone has done it it's a bit too late to bring it back, because it's gone.

Tradition can revive. Somewhat. If needed.

This is from Fiddler on the roof, I think, a beautiful film.

I understand Tradition as Guenon defined it, as non human, supra human knowledge revealed to man; from this primordial tradition, all valid traditions emerged- hinduism, buddhism, taoism, judaism, christianity, islam. Within their esoteric core they are all the same, as derived from the same primordial Principle. Human communities should be organized per traditional rules.

Will western world be able to revive its Christian tradition and civilization? I do not know. It is time that we are "wise as serpents, and harmless as doves". I have the feeling that we passed a threshold in human history, and, in order to keep our humanity we should take a leap in consciousness, to use the surrounding horror to gain more lucidity without being stained by it.

A blessed and happy 2023!

I think the optimism of Russian Orthodoxy on Christian revival is a delirium dream after Vaccination. Christianity may be trivialized from within. Salvation is masking, and vaccinating, and boosting and giving of alms and repentance for living.

It is true that Orthodoxy is attacked by the globalists from outside and infiltrated inside. I can see this in Romania. This is what we can see, but we do not know what really happens inside the Orthodox Churches. The Orthodox monks and hierarchy know what is the war against the globalist about, but they may have different ways of resistance; the Patriarchs should take care to preserve the Church as Institution, which is important for the preservation of the respective people itself.. Orthodoxy had a previous war with the atheistic bolshevic power, and never disappeared. Orthodoxy is still a living tradition. In Russia is supported by the political power, and therefore easier for them to fight the good fight. For a Christian the only Salvation is Christ. We should aim for the spiritual immunity, now more than ever. Vaccination is below 40% of the population in the Eastern orthodox countries; it is true that mandates were not imposed, but it is also about a different mentality. The final battlle has begun. I do not know how long it will take. In all traditions, the ones who follow the spiritual path, know without any doubt that God wins in the end.

I think that Russian Orthodoxy remains a creature of the Russian State. Orthodoxy naturally is the believer not necessarily the Hierarchy. All institutions today are quite corrupted. As they were 100 years ago.

Trying to make Dugin a kind of Rasputin is silly.

The tradition of loving care. How many things are in this world for sale for which people sacrifice health and life to own and display and think this traditional. I think to the Neanderthal caring for their injured. I am a pauper from one view and rich from another. My wife needs me. Now of course I need me too so we dialogue. An imperfect world in all meridians.

Here's some information on some really old tradition.

Sounds like New York, always some action.

Wonder if they had sirens and police cars going all night.
