And the robot marches onwards to a glorious future and mankind seems destined for dinner. What can be done? I think not much with current arrangements. Ebola may become the next reason to lock up all mankind. Or the Andromeda Strain. Masses never rise. Yes grumble, yes protest a bit, but without leaders nothing can be done. And those who emerge as leaders usually are narcissists and delusional.
Even now propaganda insists on masking and masses obey. How many deaths does it require for the WEF to win? Will a transhuman leader arise from the wreckage of the old world? Will a Prophet arise galvanizing billions? The interlock of power elites is evident. The USA has had two elections filled with open fraud. And yes some fraud is contested, but only within the existing criminal order. In other words a State may overcome a fraudulent election and send a representative to Congress from the other Establishment party. The Establishment remains untouched. Fauci can be called to account and damage done already sacrificed to appease.
I do not see well in a dark night with no moon and at least since reading my first SF book on the outcome of nuclear war as a child admit to expecting the worst. Evidently we are domesticated and bred to obey a government.
For unknown reasons we consider it a "Public Thing" which right reason can steer correctly to serve us all. Or if not we accept being governed by a dictator or monarch so we can go about our day.
