I'd heard of Operation Paperclip in summary form, but this level of detail is mindblowing. I'd always felt that WW2 never truly ended, that there was no clear 'winner', or for that matter 'sides' considering the source of funding for both. And that fascism had morphed into acceptable capitalism that we see now coming to its fateful death-climax like some monstrous sexual aberration.
