In his book The Fate of Man in the Modern World Berdyaev talks of Steiner. Berdyaev stressed the human person as the Imago Dei. His Gnostic thought was deeply influenced by Boheme. His early work and his later work do not differ much other than his insights were sharpened by events. From his view Steiner had the error elevating science too high and in his Anthrosophy lost sight of the Anthropos.

I remember my first lie and the lies that followed. They grew like hydra arms until there seemed like there was no room for possible redemption... And suffocating for lack of space, fearing that everything would unravel, I had to let go of it all and let that life die.
I nearly really died but it was the best thing that ever happened to me... Letting go of fear.
Thanks for the introduction to Berdyaev. I was intrigued why we were blocked to the "Lies" link. Simply an over-reaction from American or Russian sides on the internet? Who knows. I find Berdyaev remarkable. I'm currently combining decades of Buddhist practice with a dive into Western mysticism via Steiner. I find, as always, everyone wants me to look exclusively through their lens, their way of understanding, when, in fact, we can look through many because overlaps not only exist but the "many" approaches are ultimately "one."
