America in "2024" is haunted by the spectre of Christian Fascism, indeed such was always the case!
Simultaneously death strides across the planet unchecked and indeed supported by powerful right-wing forces who even pretend that they want to renew American Civilization as described in the benighted Newt Gingrich in his 1993 book Renewing American Civilization, the contents and totalizing purposes of which are described in great detail in the 2025 project which as per Gingrich's early totalizing manifesto is promoted by the benighted Heritage (lies, lies, and more lies) Foundation.
I have always been horrified by applied politics of right-wing Christians, especially in the US and how they were dramatized with murderous effect in Central & South America as described or pointed to in this reference which describes the applied politics of the former (but now renamed) School of the America's http://www.soaw.org
One particular book confirmed my horror. It was/is the little known (1997 book by Linda Kintz titled Between Jesus and the Market - The EMOTIONS (my emphasis) That Matter in Right-Wing America. Using copious quotes/references to all of the benighted characters and their movements Linda describes in great detail dark totalizing vision. One thing that is interesting in "2024" that many/most of the characters and their movements described in that book are now in one way or another connected to the 2025 project.
That totalizing project was even quite recently mooted/described by the benighted Chris Rufo in his
Conservative (sic) Manifesto.
Please also find an incomplete list of books which describe and warn us against such applied right-wing Christian politics.

Berdyaev sees modern history as the testing of human liberty. Humanism rebels against medieval subjection in affirming man's self-confidence, but it ends in debasing him through severing his celestial ties and in seeing him as but a part of nature. The Renaissance rediscovered natural man and antiquity, witnessed the clash of pagan and Christian principles, and saw their partial reconciliation in the great symbolic art of the age. The Reformation affirmed man's freedom from ecclesiastical compulsion, but it debased man by denying his primal freedom before God. The Enlightenment affirmed man's self-sufficient reason, but in denying any mystery it debased man's ability to know. The French Revolution affirmed man's ability to change history but ended in denying all human rights. Romanticism affirmed man's spiritual resources but denied his ultimate destiny. Industrialism affirmed man's liberation from nature but denied his integrity and dignity. Modern history by a fatal dialectic sees humanism paradoxically be coming inhumanism; the denial of God tending to the denial of man. Berdyaev sees the present as the beginning of a new barbarism the inhumanity of which is manifest in the total war system where human lives are regarded as mere means; in capitalism under which man is enslaved and oppressed by property; in collectivism where the organization becomes the end and man, the instrument; in a morality of bestialism which permits the use of man in any way to attain inhuman or anti-human ends; in cultural manifestations in literature, science, philosophy, and theology which interpret integral man in terms of a part; in politics with sham democracy's concern with only abstract, formal political freedom and the totalitarian's rejection of all freedom; in the dictator led masses in which all individuality is ruthlessly obliterated; in the intensification of racialism and nationalism which find the existential center in entities other than human personality; in the tyranny of Caesars who rule by appeal to instinct and emotion; and in a Christianity that largely conforms to the world. This barbarism may lead on to the new Middle Ages which Berdyaev sees marked by the end of humanism, individualism, and formal liberalism; a simplified material culture; political universalism.; religious collectivism; and a social order of the syndicalist type. Berdyaev rejects the progressive and cyclical notions of history. Though Western civilization is at a crisis, he postulates the possibility of salvation through religious transfiguration. This will take place only as Christianity and creation are combined, i.e. as a dynamic, creative conception of the Church becomes actualized and incarnated in all areas of life. Man's ethical task is one of creativity as in contemplation he acquires the intuitive insight of genius and in self-sacrificing love he actualizes his inspiration. Death signifies that there is no eternity in time and that an endless temporal series is meaningless. Man's role in this situation is to forsake the creation of temporary, transitory, and corruptible goods and to devote himself to the creation of eternal, permanent, and immortal values. Berdyaev was Christian.
Yes but so what! But why does everything have to turn out to be Christian?
It could be said that the 2025 project is the culmination of the world-darkening process that Berdyaev describes.
.From another perspective according to the vast Hindu beginning and endless Cosmological time cycle we are now living in the very dark end of the Kali Yuga.
By contrast Western (Christian) man is trapped in a single time line - the nightmare of his-story,
the nightmare from which we urgently need to awaken (James Joyce). Published in that fateful year of 1939 Finnegan's Wake was actually a literal description of the dying/death of Western culture which was about to destroy itself by completing the process set in place by WWII
Linear time, distinguished from space, sequentialized into his-story, intellectualized into units of hours, minutes and seconds, and further abstracted into money, loses its psycho-biological significance. The source of this mis-understanding is to be found in the orthodox Christian doctrine of the presumed uniqueness of the event of Christ-event to the (presumed) Second Coming, which alone gives meaning to all other events. From the presumed Christ-event to the presumed Second Coming, in the Christian view, all human activity takes place in unrepeatable units, "redemption" being possible only by relation to the presumed unique Christ-event.
This reductionist doctrine is absolutist and terrifyingly single-minded. It breaks from the non-Western traditional view, common to most world cultures, especially those influenced by Buddhism & Hinduism, that time is cyclic and that the meaning of human existence is related to certain recurring Cosmic patterns.
By the way there was nothing unique about the universal, non-sectarian, non-Christian Spiritual Way of Life that Jesus taught and demonstrated while he was alive - it was simply True.
His-story is a dream/nighmare- a dream of reason. As long as man believes in this dream and seeks to acquire and protect an historical identity, he remains unconscious of the fact that man (both male and female) is a bridge between the Cosmic realms of heaven and earth. Within the dream/nightmare man's hopes will always focus on a future utopia that is progressively realized/created as a kakatopia, a psychotechnological intensity of hell on earth. His only escape from this fatal cycle is to wake up from the dream/nighmare and realize his/her cosmic, myhtic, and fundamentally timeless identity.
That future utopia can be pictured as either the Kingdom of "God" on Earth as depicted in the classic Norman Rockwell Saturday Evening Post dreamscapes (where there is obviously no death or threat thereof (or is there!), or projected as an ascent to heaven where the body is "resurrected" and hopefully no bad weather
O'Keefe is brilliant. Opened my eyes wide about Planned Parenthood and I researched where the embrionic dna strains come from. A wee fetus in 1973 or some such. Anyway, his group secretly filed the CEO talking about live abortion and different ways she had to gather specific body parts from a fetus-sometimes still in the mother during procedure. Organs fetch a lot of money. I am not a doner.
Christian thought of the God Man is the superior player in human affairs by focus on individual human beings qualities and attributes that make them unique in the way Jesus Christ is unique. True myth as C.S. Lewis insists. Revelation of the Divinity is bound by the human psyche. The fact that spiritual truths are social truths is first. The insight comes and is revealed through the living man. The living man is in a social order. The interpretation of the revelation is the gap between what is revealed as truth and the reality of the tribe’s capacity to understand. We see this with vaccines. How difficult truth is that they are designed to kill despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. The tribe has a history of ignoring truth. The tribe prefers to believe their priest scientists that injection is Salvation and all others who do not believe that are heretics. Truth is interpreted by the social. And yet truth is truth and the truth of Christian myth that all man shares in Divinity is debased by the social.
