I am of a somewhat similar and different view. Even within the context of this Western Phynance tradition plunder is first and foremost. Not only by the West So called nation states existing on fumes of traditional habit all are dissolved into money. Coupled to the acid bath of perpetual change (unmanaged really but still strongly influenced by globalization) nothing else has the cachet to balm ego wounds of leaders. Most people are keen on change but they have no intention to do so because they don’t have ability to change their minds about anything that matters to a human being

Extremely interesting reading, Stegiel. I had to research nearly every item you "clipped" because I have no previous knowledge on those subjects.

I would agree that most anyone who understands the true nature of the U.S. can easily see that the U.S. principally remains in the ME to continue destabilizing the region as well as to plunder and loot wherever they can as the oil in Syria.

The Arab response also reveals quite impressively that they know Israel and the U.S. want a conflict and that the two states are attempting to offer sufficient provocation to begin kinetic war. The ongoing genocide in Gaza is such a provocation. IMO, Oct. 7 was a false flag by Israel.

The U.S. is enormously wealthy because we hold the world currency. Many say we'll lose that status shortly. I would point to an unending strength in those who hold and control the U.S. federal reserve. These predictions of our demise have been shrieked throughout ZeroHedge in the 9 years I've been reading. The utter zaniness of the mounting U.S. debt and continual encroaching poverty of its citizens should tell us that they're winning. Trump will likely be elected to salve or delay any overt rebellion for four years. He'll "right" many wrongs. This is how they operate. They're masters at the art.

I didn't understand Iran's response to the bombing of their Syrian embassy until I read another article a day or so ago. They hit their targets at least 80%. Even alternative journalism portrayed the slow-moving drones ripe for counter-missile attack by both Israel and U.S. as a juvenile effort. Another interpretation could perhaps be they look like a country too afraid to confront another more powerful country face to face.

I hope they're playing the long game. The strikes revealed how Israel's defense system operates in detail even with U.S. support from intelligence to surveillance to additional fire power. I say "I hope" because I agree with the assessment that the ME has been the subject of both destabilization and outright terroristic bombing by Israel and U.S. for many decades. Perhaps when "The End" comes, Steigel, the end might be far more catastrophic than any of us can imagine at this point. 80% of Iranian bombs arrived through a defense network touted as the most supreme in the world. If those drone warheads were nuclear, you could devastate Israel. Of course, you'd have to incapacitate the U.S. forces which, unfortunately, are widespread throughout the ME at this time. So, we have a checkmate-checkmate situation.

At a certain point, a trapped or imprisoned enemy who is constantly beaten wishes only for their own death. Perhaps we'll arrive at this juncture in the ME and perhaps not. I don't think the faction who rules and controls U.S. policy understands this point. They're likely entities who fail to understand the depth of human emotion because they, themselves, can't access this power within themselves.
