No government will make you free. And nations of cowards are unable to grasp this basic thought.

This technological dystopia as shared by many writers over last 150 years is arising by daily activity of living. I can see it so clearly when I do but look at the workers I see. We are paid to undo ourselves like a football player.

"The age of antiquity is the youth of the world. These times are the ancient times, when the world is ancient, and not those which we account ancient 'ordine retrogrado', by a computation backward from ourselves, Francis Bacon."

Good article thanks. We are deep into the matrix for certain. This is the dream of tyrannical forces to have this sort of techno biological control and surveillance. Scanned, surveilled, folded, spindled and mutilated.

This info has been getting out recently in the alternative sphere, and in the last few months even got some play on a mainstream-ish conservative website Lifesite News. Yes, this technology has been around for awhile, longer than the text of the bill would have you believe. This law merely codified activities that were already happening covertly for some time. Before these recent revelations in the alt-sphere, there were tidbits being discovered here and there, including a full length book (by Robert Duncan) on how this technology works which is still available if you’re willing to do a little searching.

I made my peace with it almost 15 years ago, man does time fly. I feel things were more experimental during that time, and perhaps the population at-large wasn’t yet subjected to all facets of this technology. Nonetheless, it is 2023 and I’d wager that the cognitive data of every American (more likely every citizen of a NATO country and likely Russia/China have their versions) is being collected. It makes me recall Zbigniew Brzezinski’s book “Between two ages” where he writes that as the technotronic era advances, society would start to resemble a more controlled and docile state. It is clear as day, at least to me, that we are at that point now. The people are so utterly subjugated in ways they can’t possibly fathom. They’ve been made diseased and impotent, with little to no true knowledge or discernment about how the world really works. Artificial reality, the society of the spectacle, the simulacra, whatever you want to call it, has become the reality of probably 99% of the people living in functional countries. A small remnant of people, us, who are aware of this reality, have the ability and motivation to learn how and why we’re in the situation we’re in today.

It’s been a fascinating ride, and it’s nowhere near ending. Is it as simple as power hungry oligarchs have captured world governments and have turned technological progress against us? Perhaps there is more to the story, something esoteric, something ancient, something that has always ruled over humanity but is just clothed in new garb for the modern day? Personally, I have to set aside the manichaean implications of these technologies and the history of the modern era and focus on what the ultimate end-game is. I’m not entirely sure it is ultimately evil, perhaps there is a grander purpose to all of it? Very hard to tell, but there seems little choice but to try to continue to decipher it and if the chance arises, make a better situation for ourselves and others who are capable of carrying the weight of the truth along with us.

I would say I have made my stand. In it, not with it, not for it.

James, thank you for your thoughtful comment. Is Project Soulcatcher the book you're referencing by Duncan? I think the purpose of all of this is Great Spirit trying to guide us to become self-aware, so that it can truly know itself in a more pure form, as we are champagne bubbles rising to the surface of life's glass, in a quickening of vitality. Win or lose, I think we become champions the moment we accept the challenge before us. I've never heard the word simulacra...so thanks for that too. Learn a new thing every NI (naturally intelligent) discussion I have.

Isn't the unauthorized invasion of another person/soul called "witchcraft"...or "sorcery?" And the US Fed Gov't legalized this, despite all millennia(s)-old [worldwide] religious beliefs specifically outlawing these practices? There's only one ending to this; it's the same ending every group of people faced when they tried it.

A cynic may say the Government in seeking to protect all faiths is run by and uses spies on drawn from all faiths alike.

I believe that we are being tricked into reacting to AI, when in true reality AI is only reacting to us, and waiting for our chess moves. Being unpredictable through spontaneous artistic creation is our greatest resource I believe.
