I sometimes think I must be crazy for thinking that viruses don't exist, having for much of my life, not had an appreciation for my own intelligence. Covid has flipped that. Not that I think I'm Einstein or anything. But I have realised at least that most of the time, those who appear to be the smartest, are just better at bullshitting themselves, and everyone else. Those who really think they are better than everyone else are really just good at memorising what they've been told and have never had an original thought in their lives
