McKenna has a lovely mind and it is fun to follow him and his beautiful use of the language. As this monologue is a journey into abstraction, it does nothing to change my life. As he fills up the space with answers, he does not leave me with a question I can ponder. I love questions.
On my end I do find some questions and had them since the 60’s. I discovered Dystopia in 5tb grade. Vietnam unending I did not find the Archaic Revival of much interest then in the 60’s. Even less in the 90’s. I am amused though the Reaction to technics is the early Bronze Age. I listen and think alongside McKenna as other thinkers and like McKenna I had Science Fiction as my teacher and writers from 1890-1970. I feel McKenna had a sharp eye on Dystopia but like most Utopians he never journeyed past Erewhon.
