Another exploration
Solvency at last is due to the severity of my wife’s neurological malady. I naturally am grateful. My preference was other.
I must bring her up to snuff as home health aid or at least ensure no slipping back to the same old post-surgery used to be. I have to document my three hour day as exactly as I can so next April when it is asked for I hand time sheet over and start talking fast.
The income is useful.
Suddenly solvent with even minimum wage part time after 4 years the feeling comes that I ran a good race and have the fortune to run another each year.
My last few gigs after leaving home loan origination 15 years ago went under water and this one in June 2019 no exception. Until Covid I was still willin’ but afterwards upon retirement not at all. I search my soul and I admit I am not a soul with proclivity for toil. Conundrum is my time is carefully set forth and I am 24/7/365 billing 3.0 hours. My wife is employer. She must approve my pay.
California took 5 months to pay out for approval after documentation. Not crucial my 22 hour week. Evidently the process is open and shut. All post-brain surgery disability cases are 6 months for payout. I intervened and ours was 5 months. Intervention at the end with a prominent politician who knows Judith and her daughter. After intervention the log jam of pay was broken.
Her health needs to improve and so my 3 hour day 7 day minimum wage edge supplements only briefly retirement. At some moment billable hours get cut.
The change in the flow of human events during Covid is no longer grounded in any reference to a singular and unique moment when Jesus was born, lived, was crucified, died, harrowed hell and was as a transfigured man, a God Man, filled with Divinity. A great flatness replaced it.

The diagnosis of Covid-19 Chinese deaths we were told are all confirmed by Chinese administered PCR test, a non existent thus extant virus in China, and thus fair game for all imaginable scenarios shut down planet Earth like a plunging high rise elevator after 10 floors with a bullet.
