I know, Stegiel. The entire situation is absolutely chimeric. Like "Space Oddity": "For here, am I sitting in a tin can/ Far, above the world/ Planet Earth is blue/ And there's nothing I can do." I cannot even envision the trust these people placed in Boeing who evidently can no longer manufacture planes from which wheels and doors don't fly. This version seems quite appropriate for these poor souls. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nRc0yaMW7Mw
Quite apt. A great SF novel with this song in mind. Starships will use the new drive just past Pluto to go to the target star system. Breaks down and lands crew on Pluto.
I understand *why* the boomers went to Itchycoo Park to get stoned, because the war and materialism was failing us. But in the end chemical intoxication is not enlightenment which is why the boomers ended by the 80s snorting coke and selling out on Wall St.

Part of me asks, "Can this be real?" and the wise one answers, "yes".
