I think musical mockery/satire/insights repurposing can bring across quite a bit. And when the lyrics of Jolene surfaced as I sat down to write the fit was ideal. If I were a music person I'd form a band and record old covers for Covid resistance. I've been listening to covers lately of the Dead and others and found inspiration. There is a very entertaining metal artist out of Norway who does metal covers of some hits. I first saw him cover Dead South's music video: "In Hell I'll Be In Good Company" and howled with laughter.
