Thank you for the update that your wife is very slowly recovering from her operation.

This is very good news. Also, the care of a loving husband makes a big difference.

Winter impedes outdoor movement due mainly to too much hospital. Absence of sun and chill low 40's do not help, so we sit a bit on the stoop, walk half block, walk back sit in sun a bit more, then back into apartment. I think by April we can go the extra half block to garden. Coming home harder as uphill steep for half block so cab.

It is good how you are dealing with this. Half a block there and back is plenty at this time

and a weak sun is better than our super strong sun which inhibits any activity.

Even when we sit still it causes sweating!

Soon you will have our sun and we will be sent your chill.

Chemtrails take care of this as does fog. SF weather is complex due to the terrain. Sacramento where I once lived hits a number of over 100 degree F. SF usually low 70's in summer as a high. Mark Twain had his famous quip and it was true: the coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco.

Yes, I realise you would not have the heat we have here in Queensland, Aust. I grew up

in a cold climate, near a mountain range in New Zealand with snow in winter. I revelled in the warmth when moving here, but have adjusted and now when the temperature drops even a little, it feels cold. I am not sure if this is good.
