After visiting 1971 and coming back home and pondering the deaths seem not to disrupt. Virus Normalcy is the rage. Schools demand vaccines. They demand masks. Public transit requests masking by strongly recommending in signage. Clerks mask. Insanity flowers.
Of course in Germany much worse. This post covers a Catholic view.

I went to train at Ft. Knox in 1976. The idea that I had at 19 was free ticket to law school at UCB.
After 8 weeks I said not a chance. No officer no law school.
RELICS and MEDDLE came out in 1971. I got out of the Army in 1971. There has never been a better year than 1971 and I wish I could return and stay there.
