The German mentality is all too often obey the rules without flexibility. When they do things well they do them very well. But when they don't or perhaps over-engineering, they do make a hash of it. My perception is of bipolar, very good or very bad.
Which as per my post is why there are a lot of Bad places in Germany!
England had a different opinion in the 19th and early 20th century. China likes German products. Prior to WW1 England was concerned German technology and engineering would eliminate their markets. And today we see the war in Ukraine as by intent destroying the German industrial base.
Now bizarre as this may sound this is because we follow a timeline similar to WW2, only 80 years ago.
Industrial base was being eroded by aerial bombing in Germany, albeit they were able to disperse. I did this link to explain the weird links. How much detail we follow is debatable, but in Russia Stalingrad was being fought over and the Germans suffer their first big defeat in the East.
Spent a week in Rappiswil near Zurich (almost twenty years ago), staying in the Swan hotel with a lake view. An expensive hotel, but an odd clinical aspect, white rooms with rubber bedsheet.
My husband took sick and I had difficulty finding suitable food for him. Could not communicate with the hotel staff; if I tried to order a coffee they would call the suit and tie wearing manager.
On entering cafés or patisserie such stares and silence from staff and customers that I would scuttle out. I was with my six year old son, and wanted to find food for him too.
Staple food ended up being McDonald's for son and me, and takeaway soup from railway station cafe for husband. Did I mention expensive? A cup of tap water at McDonald's was expensive.
I have been to a lot of countries where I don't speak the language ( just have a few phrases written down) but Rappiswil is the only place where there was negative desire by locals to sell me anything.
Ascona is a town in southern Switzerland. It’s known for its Mediterranean-style architecture and cafe-lined promenade on Lake Maggiore. In Borgo, the old town, is the 16th-century Church of St. Peter and Paul. The Museum of Modern Art has paintings by Paul Klee and Alexej von Jawlensky. The hilltop Monte Verità, a colony for artists and intellectuals in the early 20th century, has a historical park and museum.― Google
Ticino -Asconia is in this canton-was in the days of Hesse very open minded. Many famous people dwelled or visited. I never visited the nation. I did visit France and Czech Republic and flew home from Munich. No money then either. Got home to SFO and last $20 got us home.
That trip was a trip. Very funny in all ways. Our hotel burned down so we had upgrade. In Czech republic in Prague saw Irish tourists get pick pocketed by a gypsy woman and get angry just as Gulf War 2:started. We were on Charles River bridge going to Old Town.
USA Canada South America did too. The crime of the Nazi is treating Europeans as Europeans treated everyone else: subhuman. Anglo Saxon more or less. Or French in their empire or Belgians. Or Portugal in Africa until 1975!
Correct. No virus exists. Very likely all of virology is fraud. However ideology is stronger than truth found to be lies. Open question really is so what else is new under the sun? The powerful act. The populace is acted upon. Life is conditioned by many influences. Presently Oligarchs favoring clear cutting humanity are so powerful they can proceed with their plan. Brecht here is shown to be an optimist. How? In his poem General Your Tank Is Some Strong Car he says a man can think and a man is needed for the machine to work. His optimism is that the social side triumphs over group think and individual gain. I dare say he was wrong then and more wrong today. Our elites fall in lock step-and ALWAYS HAVE. The history of the witch hunts shows that humanist judges did not dare object.
Remove 'very likely' and I will agree with you! Germ theory came out of Germ-many I understand and Germ-many has caused one or two 'minor problems' over the years.
Including the current issues of course. Although I blame the Nazis/Marxists/communists who originally came out of Germ-many.
Yeah I use the qualifying phrase as it is barely possible I am wrong. Germany is a complex place. Goethe is German. He died before the rise of Prussian controlled Germany.
Yes, it is very sad. There is a very good and relatively short book my brother-in-law has on Germany and its split 'personality'. There have been both good and bad people, and perhaps one might say, very good and very bad.
German has had to face west and east and that may be part of the problem sandwiched in the middle of Europe and fought over for centuries with great loss of life and destruction/harm.
No wonder the country is confused.
And as you say, Prussia. I have said this elsewhere, but what other country has an acid named after it, I can't think of one. And used in the gas chambers.
Yes, thank you. I have scan read this before. The interesting things is cyanide is an antidote to sodium nitrite (E250). I have a facial palsy due to ingesting it in bacon I ate. It is neuro-toxic and can lead to nitro-samines which are far more toxic.
If you should be at all interested I have done this. What is worth bearing in mind is that with the neuro-toxic damage from the wretched vaccines, cyanide in micro-doses may help heal neuro-disorders at least, which the main cause of most disease anyway.
Schwab is Swiss. Of course Jung and Hesse were as well. Asconia was once a Bohemia.
Klaus Schwab was born in Baden-Württemberg, home of the Bad so born a German, although parents Swiss and I see he lives in Switzerland now.
I found there are a lot of Bad places in Germany, some very Bad.

Going to miss that German engineering.
I am not so sure German engineering is that good. I was interested to read Quora discussions.

Hard to know how many Germans are on board with the shooting themselves in the foot.
Now an influx of Ukrainian refugees, having been told to evacuate Kiev etc, will lead to pressure for domestic resources.
These Globalists; how will the average patriotic German like that..
Not much I guess.

German kitchen good.
Kaffee und Kuchen!
It means 'bath' or 'place of hot pools' but I guess you know that.
Ah I see, first sentence of the article that you linked. My bad.
LOL bad.
Tell me about Asconia, Stegiel.
An internet search didn't go well as I didn't know what I was looking for.
Why did you choose to mention Hesse?
Reference to Jung I get; clinical.
Anecdote from me.

Asconia is https://houseofswitzerland.org/swissstories/history/monte-verita-swiss-early-hippie-colony
Lowest lying municipality--

Population: 5,533 (Dec 31, 2008)
Canton: Ticino
So it's the hippy colony that you are contrasting with psychologist Jung and philosophical Hesse.
I am being Watson to your Holmes.
Edit: do you think that there's a different mindset in French speaking Switzerland compared to German speaking.
Probably. As in Italian

Switzerland is well known for harbouring Nazis.
'Dr Nazis welt' anagram of Switzerland. See, told you :)

Was never about a virus!

There's word games at Auschwitz as well, in Plautdietsch.
And are we sure that the Nazis/Marxists/Communists didn't come out of Hannover.
