The relatively stable climate of the last 12,000 years or something either was a fluke, or a function of a certain growing amount of fertility in the soil.

I've been following Dr. Christine Jones who promotes these chemical fertilizers are not necessary.

Thank you for the collection of resources; there is never enough of them.

Sadly, geo-engineering entails more than one would imagine:

When you were in Basic Training did you too have the song to sing running early in the morning "Follow me Land of the Free, if you want to be a Hero follow me."

I did. 1976. Ft. Knox. 5 AM. I recall it well. I was 19. Then learning life expectancy of a tank officer due to hand held missiles I decided I was okay not being a hero.

I think climate instability is the key. Populations everywhere have land and weather. Soil fertility and agricultural practice vs. climate shaped us.

Good post. I want to find someone who can post authoritatively and professionally on the role of the sun on climate change. I am actively looking. There are the usual YouTubers.but….

Thank you for the sources! These will fill quite a few gaps for me. I hope, KW NORTON will be able to write a nice article on the subject!

It is an article I do not have the analytical skills to write such an article. I like Occam's razor far too much to be the right person. I want someone else to do it so I can use it as a reference and cross post.

Zharkova is great and I love her work. Just want a way to simplify what she does for public consumption. This international climate change hoax which is so popular has got to be defanged. Posting the You Tube videos featuring her work are not going to be sufficient as far as I can see. Let me know if you can think of a way to make her work pop for the average nonscientist.

Invincible ignorance and propaganda combine to make andesite skulls with empty sockets. I know a MacArthur Fellow who makes his money with an Environmental NGO insisting that Solar input vs. man is negligible-a former astronomer and Cal graduate.

I think so also. Though the very generalized stakeholder institutional agreements exist that the policy short run works well the actuality is that it does not.
