Just to add that in my opinion today humanitarian catastrophe is due to the neoliberal ideology, which idol- the profit- created the greedy monsters that planned the pandemic, climate change ideology. It uses methods that we know were nazi methods- euthanasia, sterilization, but in fact these methods were used also in America. With communism- they have in common the total disregard of human life, but they changed the propagandistic goal; now they want to save the planet, not the working class; the working class was replaced by all kind of marginal, including mental disturbed people, used as mass of maneuver to attain certain objectives and give the illusion of democracy.
God or Creator, Personal and Impersonal, Unity and Uniqueness beyond duality, thought and imagination-is not an idea. We need to become manifestations of the Living God, to let God manifest through our thoughts and actions. Traditions should be up-dated, but based and within Tradition itself. How this can be done I do not know, as there is no more authority in religion, and the so called spirituality it is an empty shell with no pearl inside. Maybe an individual quest for the life meaning of each of us is what we are left with. Christianity is our tradition but should be reinvented in our life, we should return to the Great Fathers and Saints who found God within themselves. As someone said, Christianity is from God- and therefore one of the valid traditions, but God is not christian. I am hesitant of cults and movements, because they can be easily diverted. What we need most is discernment. Between Good and Evil, Sanity and Insanity. I think these times request radical choices. With best wishes.
I have a book I bought in '83 called Utopian Thought in the Western World. Prob need to peruse once more. Climate Activism is the driver now of Utopian thinking.
