I've had dreams of these pterodactyl like ancient beings that harvest planets. I'm held out in a house with all of my closest relatives in an alternative universe on an alternative planet and the screaming when my family members got harvested by these beings was the most terrifying sound you could ever imagine from humans. Then I found myself jumping out of a window to survive and then the next thing I remember I'm floating in a river of blood with body parts.
Thanks. A very interesting view. I believe that every theory mentioned here stems from the forced imposition of one form or another of human exceptionalism, which is essentially what the Bible calls original sin. And I also believe that we're bound to pay the price for this kind of arrogance.
If I am given the choice of ever returning to Earth after my death the answer is a firm NO.
There is no other place but Earth
All of these alternative planets are just alternative realms and they are all based out of Earth. This is the only place that is alive.
Says who?
Says myself

Nobody really knows what's at stake
Chop wood, carry water. Learn trees and plants. The shiny metallic creatures shall dwindle.
