Paul Craig Roberts see’s but falls into a cognitive trap due to his profound misunderstanding of Globalism. In a sense he is the mirror image of the Patriot who blames Russia and China but never the US government. Mr. Roberts remains unaware of a higher organization ordering the makeup of governments of putative nation states. He can see U.S. interference and he readily grasps this government was installed almost like that of the Ukraine in a color revolution. He will not accept that the U.S. deep state is not of the United States but has hirelings who are - Joe Biden among many others both in government and outside. For this reason his analysis is deeply flawed. He cannot bring himself to recognize Putin barks like a doggie because he is following orders. He does not recognize there was no “Fall”of communism only communism reborn. He ignores Cibulka. He ignores Golitsyn. I think his misunderstanding of this truth that Globalism and Communism are the same coin is a failure. I think it undercuts his analysis. For instance he refuses to ask WHY? “Just as the Israelis are annihilating Gaza, Western leaders are setting up the Western world for the same.”

Indeed, the fact that not one political party in the West voiced a need to verify the collapse of the USSR would have also alerted Golitsyn that the political parties of the West were co-opted by Marxists, since the survival of the West depends on verification.

In The Perestroika Deception Golitsyn doesn't discuss what he knows concerning the Marxist co-option of the West (the book is a mere collection of memorandum the author submitted to the CIA between 1973 and October 1995), which is where this researcher fills in the gaps. The above means that the so-called ‘War on Terror’ is an operation being carried out by the Marxist co-opted governments of the West in alliance with the USSR and other Communist nations, the purpose being to (1) destroy the prominence of the West in the eyes of the world, where the West is seen (i) invading nations without cause; (ii) causing chaos around the globe; and (iii) killing over one-million civilians and boasting of torture; (2) close off non-Russian supplies of oil for export, thereby increasing the price of oil, the higher price allowing oil exporting Russia to maintain economic stability while she modernizes and increases her military forces; (3) destroy the United States Armed Forces via the never-ending ‘War on Terror’; the ultimate purpose of the aforementioned to (4) bring about the demise of the United States in the world, opening up a political void to be filled by a new pan-national entity composed of Europe and Russia (replacing the European Union), a union ‘From the Atlantic to Vladivostok’; which will (5) see the end of NATO.
