Said Barbie to Ken watching TV news together “what about us if this blows up like you’ve told me a million fucking times.” Ken laughed nervously then said “studies are 97% certain, these studies are off record not in public knowledge, that the blast size is several 60 megaton Hydrogen bombs with Magma. Jim Jimson whom you’ve met the last five Geophysical Conferences gives the blow off 1-5 years.”
Barbie said “O no! Where can we go? We didn’t vaccinate and have 13 black cats ?”
Ken tried but to say something otherwise he could not do. “Based on past eruptions and scientific models, experts estimate that the Yellowstone volcano blast radius could extend out 500-600 miles in some directions, mostly northwest and southeast. Living in SF maybe fires will bring toxic smoke. Maybe the faults are triggered. We just hunker down.”
Well, at least we know what the gov will do after the blast is over, turn Yellowstone in to $$ condos...too bad the blast can't be directed towards that strange pentagonal building in DC.
