Why, Jünger asks, does the “craving for security” that pervades the modern consciousness grow in step with technological progress? The answer must be that technology’s advocates have become cognizant of the inherent dangers of the forces they have set in motion. In Jünger’s words, “Modern man wakes up to the fact that the elemental forces he has enslaved in his machinery are turning against him with ever growing, viciously destructive force.”

And then e.e. cummings has this poem you see which in 1987 before packing my bags for San Francisco I read as a poet in what we billed as the Worlds Longest Poetry reading in front of Java City cafe by a big tree for 72 hours accompanied saxophone as needed and I read this poem and the reader through a series of three disasters. The first two are related to naturally occurring events, a tornado, and a blizzard. In the third stanza author reveals to the reader a human-made disaster. Only humanity, the speaker asserts, is capable of produces a disaster from which there is no return.

So here is Mr. Cummings, Greenwich Village poet

what with much of a which of a wind

gives truth to the summer's lie;

bloodies with dizzying leaves the sun

and yanks immortal stars awry?

Blow king to beggar and queen to seem

(blow friend to fiend:blow space to time)

—when skies are hanged and oceans drowned,

the single secret will still be man

what if a keen of a lean wind flays

screaming hills with sleet and snow:

strangles valleys by ropes of thing

and stifles forests in white ago?

Blow hope to terror;blow seeing to blind

(blow pity to envy and soul to mind)

—whose hearts are mountains, roots are trees,

it's they shall cry hello to the spring

what if a dawn of a doom of a dream

bites this universe in two, 

peels forever out of his grave

and sprinkles nowhere with me and you?

Blow soon to never and never to twice

March 7, 2023:
European CDC confessed to having no record of the alleged "SARS-COV-2 spike protein" being found in and purified from any people who were diagnosed with fake covid or who received a so-called "mRNA vaccine".

The request ruled out studies where researchers did something with “recombinant” aka lab-created "spike protein" that wasn’t found in people, and studies where the alleged protein was "detected" indirectly using a nonspecific test.
