Quick quick a vote was held. Ah no change. Pointless in a few different respects to comment. Quite like all the blather about Covid injections murdering. So what.
Stupid is as stupid does. In my little life I easily recognize being dull present and past tense. On the other hand THC is the only drug in my life (not counting the internet) so say I’m stoner stupid. I have less than zero trust, confidence, respect or sentiment for past and present governance. Like Voltaire in regards to Persia, “barbarian following barbarian on the banks of the Oxus.”
I am emotionally set up for Dystopian Amerika. I studied American political science and history and decided against everyones better judgement any semblance to the rhetoric had no grounding in reality. So what. It didn’t matter at all. I busted my ass to be the change, to help stop war, to stop the Arms Race, stop Contra Aid, get the U.S. out of El Salvador, to stop theGulf War when Peter Jennings had his gas mask on as Scuds hit Israel. To stop Gulf War 2. So what.
WW1 era saw Jekyll Island and the Fed. Some scholars observe that without the Fed. US participation in WW1 would not have arisen. I cut my teeth on WW1. Not WW2 which came later in High School as an interest. I think this might be because my father was a machinist in Hawaii. He did not buy Pearl Harbor. He saw the planes coming in over Diamond Head. He lived in Hawaii until the end of the war, then was relocated back to Ohio.
In any case the Boomers failed. As a consequence of their failure Covid came to stay. I have after 4 years becalmed in Covid Hell abandoned all hope. There is no resistance, none. We regress to pointless politics. Monty Python had it right in the Meaning of Life.
Covid deaths and injuries just don’t matter a bit. Not one damn Astroturf political money cash dolla to be seen putting Covid Deaths Matter in the streets. Not even the REPUBLICANS for God’s sake, God’s own party not SATAN’S pedophile party, put a single billboard up, nor come to think it WILL ANYONE ELSE. In 1987 I was working to stop Contra Aid. I was enraged. I accepted with reluctance the only resistance nationally was the Democrat Bay Area faction. Now the interesting aspect is I saw the shape of things to come. The organization was a Popular Front. Popular and fashionable like the Sandinista government or Bay Area Democrats. In the end to stay in the forefront of feasible resistance the organization supported the Humanitarian Aid gambit for the Contras. What has changed to give us the gift of war in the Ukraine?

The plan seems to be to New-Normalize Europe first — generally speaking, Europeans are more docile, respectful of all authority, and not very well armed — and then use it as leverage to force the new pathologized totalitarianism on the USA, and the UK, and the rest of the world.
I do not believe this plan will succeed. Despite the most intensive propaganda campaign in the history of propaganda campaigns, there remain enough of us who steadfastly refuse to accept the “New Normal” as our new reality.
And a lot of us are angry, extremely angry … militantly, explosively angry.
We are not “vaccine hesitant” or “anti-vax” or “Covid-denying conspiracy theorists.” We are millions of regular working-class people, people with principles, who value freedom, who are not prepared to go gently into the globalized, pathologized-totalitarian night. We no longer give the slightest shit whether our former friends and family members who have gone New Normal understand what this is. We do. We understand exactly what this is. It is a nascent form of totalitarianism, and we intend to kill it — or at least critically wound it — before it matures into a full-grown behemoth.
