Until the Kremlin sees the Wolfowitz Doctrine renounced by the White House and the military/security complex, and the neoconservatives sent into exile, this unfounded belief in the sense and integrity of the West leaves Russia exposed to destruction. Russia’s leaders simply do not comprehend the evil that they confront.

Between Roberts and the Saker I am at a loss. For the latter I get it. Mother Russia turns brains to mush, and we need a St. George from Russian Orthodoxy - a crusading. hero to take on the Satantic West. For PCR, well, something similar. Something is just not right and corrective lenses cannot be found.
While I do agree the West is worth standing up to, I laugh to think the policy of the West is it’s own policy, and laugh even harder to think the WEF has not planned out the East West conflict to the tiniest detail of say Diesel shortages and fuel costs. And anticipated forcing Russia and China to come together.
As if nation states are moral agents. As if governments are not riddled with yes men and yes wimmin, as if the entire Cold War was real, as if communism really ended instead of rebranding.

But the meat on the plate is from Anthony Sutton. I should have thought. PCR had read Sutton. https://www.journals.uchicago.edu/doi/abs/10.1086/260054
“As if nation states are moral agents.” Love it.
In his book, Filippo Casati argues that Martin Heidegger, in his later work, endorses dialetheism. Dialetheism is the view that some contradictions are true. Casati argues that Heidegger holds two specific contradictory assertions to be true: that being is both not an entity and an entity and, as a result, that being both cannot be the subject of an assertion and can be the subject of an assertion. Heidegger’s endorsement of the latter contradiction follows from his endorsement of the former since, according to Casati, to be an entity is to be a potential subject of an assertion, and all assertions are about entities. That thinking and talking about being leads to these contradictions is what makes being perplexing and question-worthy for Heidegger, according to Casati, and also what leads him to dialetheism
