Lookin' at the devil, grinnin' at his gun
Flamin' eyes of people fear, burnin' into you Many men are missin' much, hatin' what they do
I see two scenarios in my Frame 2025 “Doom.”
1. CLIMATE CATASTROPHE: geoengineering efforts are more successful and thus outside of a boundary. You cannot fight the Sun, or several suns or a failed sun or a just driftin’ by star. If a neighbor star decides to exeunt the stage you might think it a bit actor until consulting with those who know.
In this scenario, the Arctic melts, freezes, chaos. The Greenland and Antarctic ice shelves show collapse odds growing extreme, the Amazon burns more, desert grows due to weather manipulation, and the great methane reserves stored in the Siberian permafrost and Arctic clathrates can now go kaboom, accelerating global warming. The shocks in this worst case scenario will probably result in a global unraveling, technological regress, and population decline (after Covid cull 1 billion the stable number for reproductive success with one child families and humanoid helots) and high technology. However faced with present conditions State psychosis is generating rapid collapse bellow one billion. In other words no over-arching globalist public policy frame for peace is possible.
2. ETERNAL WAR: Nuclear warfare goes from a potential or even actual “one off” to a perpetual state of affairs in a dystopian future of totalitarian mega-empires ruled by “New Caesars” from networks of hardened bunkers. Populations will need to become dispersed. Centralized energy infrastructure systems will collapse. All resources are devoted to the military, such as in Orwell’s 1984 or The Eternal War game of Civilization, which both feature three mega-empires struggling for millennia over the world’s strategic choke points. In this nightmarish dystopia, the long-term global population may stabilize in the low billions.
Eyewitnesses: "Yuzhmash is gone" In Ukraine, the SBU has completely classified the consequences of the strike by the "Oreshnik" on the defense plant "Yuzhmash" in Dnepropetrovsk. Despite the blockade in the Kiev media, residents of the city began to say for the first time that "only dust remained" from the military enterprise. Yuzhmash is gone. It hit so hard that everyone just threw up their hands. It was like God sent down fiery arrows. People went to the enterprise to find out what happened - but it simply did not exist. There are no workshops, only dust remains - eyewitnesses say. According to a classmate of a local woman, at the time of the strike no one understood what had happened. The Yuzhmash workshops had been hit before: usually this was accompanied by local fires. After the arrival of "Oreshnik" there were no usual lights and many even thought it was an earthquake.

"The War in the Air"
For a saving grace, we didn't see our dead,
Who rarely bothered coming home to die
But simply stayed away out there
In the clean war, the war in the air.
Seldom the ghosts came back bearing their tales
Of hitting the earth, the incompressible sea,
But stayed up there in the relative wind,
Shades fading in the mind,
Who had no graves but only epitaphs
Where never so many spoke for never so few:
Per ardua, said the partisans of Mars,
Per aspera, to the stars.
That was the good war, the war we won
As if there were no death, for goodness' sake,
With the help of the losers we left out there
In the air, in the empty air.
