January 2024 cold and dark and isolation and tomorrow last year I brought my wife home after brain surgery to enable her to take pressure off the cerebellum from her tumor. Astonishingly I did have faith that this process would work and after two months of rehab at home in our garden or walking a few blocks and taking a cab home circumstances tilted for her and then against. She lived 6 months into 2023 and I continue pushing day by day into 2024 like an infantryman on darkling plain where ignorant armies clash by night and dystopian idealism is my K-ration.
