Fauci, Top Biden Officials Forced To Give Depositions In COVID-19 Censorship Case
Republican AG's
When they heard the footsteps of the LORD God walking in the garden by the day wind, the man and his wife hid themselves from the LORD God in the midst of the trees of the garden. But the LORD God called to the man and said to him, Where are you? He answered: I heard your footsteps in the garden; I was afraid because I was naked and hid myself. (Gen 3:8-10)

The depositions would require Fauci, alongside other top White House officials such as former Senior COVID-19 Advisor Andrew Schlatt and former Press Secretary Jennifer Psaki, to testify about their interactions with social media companies, according to the court order. The plaintiffs, most notably Republican Attorneys General Eric Schmitt of Missouri and Jeff Landry of Louisiana, alleged in their request that requiring the officials to testify was necessary because written communications between federal officials and social media companies had shown that oral conversations were federal officials’ most effective means to pressure companies to censor speech.
P]laintiffs argue that even if Dr. Fauci can prove he never communicated with social-media platforms about censorship, there are compelling reasons that suggest Dr. Fauci has acted through intermediaries, and acted on behalf of others, in procuring the social-media censorship of credible scientific opinions,” wrote the Trump-appointed Judge Terry Doughty of the Western District of Louisiana. “Plaintiffs argue that even if Dr. Fauci acted indirectly or as an intermediary on behalf of others, it is still relevant to Plaintiffs’ preliminary injunction motion. The Court agrees.”

The “anti-vax” movement: a quantitative report on vaccine beliefs and knowledge across social media
Staci L Benoit, Rachel F Mauldin
BMC public health 21 (1), 1-11, 2021
Social media use has become a mainstay of communication and with that comes the exchange of factual and non-factual information. Social media has given many people the opportunity to speak their opinions without repercussions and create coalitionS of like-minded people. This also has led to the development of a community know as anti-vaxxers or vaccine deniers. This research explores the extent to which vaccine knowledge has reached on social media. This cross sectional research explored the relationship between the spread of information regarding vaccines in relation to social media use. A sample of 2515 people over the age of 18 around the world completed the survey via a link distributed on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. A series of questions on vaccine knowledge and beliefs were compounded to create an individual’s “knowledge score” and a “belief score”. Knowledge scores were ranked from low knowledge to high knowledge with increasing scores. Belief scores were ranked from belief in myths to disbelief in myths with higher scores. This score was then analysed, using a Welch test and post hoc testing when applicable, across demographics and questions relating to social media use. Significant relations were found in both the knowledge and belief categories, many of which were similar findings between the two. North Americans had significantly lower knowledge and belief scores compared to all other continents. While the majority of people primarily use Facebook, Twitter users were significantly more knowledgeable. It was also found that higher education was correlated with higher knowledge and belief scores. Overall, these correlations are important in determining ways to intervene into the anti-vax movement through the use of social media. Cross demographics were not analysed in this study but could be in future studies. To better understand the social media exposures related to vaccine information a follow up structured interview research study would be beneficial. Note that due to the cross sectional nature of this study, causal relationships could not be made.

Tracking anti-vax social movement using ai based social media monitoring
Fahim K Sufi, Imran Razzak, Ibrahim Khalil
IEEE Transactions on Technology and Society, 2022
Anti-Vax social movement possesses a dire threat to governments’ aim of mass vaccination. Moreover, by propagating serious misconceptions and misinformation about COVID-19, Anti-Vaxxers directly and indirectly cause harm to the overall health and wellbeing of society. In addition, the ongoing clashes between Anti-Vaxxers and Pro-Vaxxers have created great social conflicts in recent times. This paper proposes an Artificial Intelligence (AI) based solution to identify and monitor social groups like Anti-Vax and Pro-Vax in ethical manner. The proposed solution uses AI based Sentiment Analysis and Named Entity Recognition (NER) to advice political scientist, social scientists, and policy makers to assess the influence and impact of social groups. The proposed solution was deployed via iOS, Android, and Windows App on a range of platforms integrating publicly available 40,857 Twitter data related to COVID-19 in 55 different languages from 15 June 2021 till 31 December 2021. Our system demonstrated that Anti-Vax and Pro-Vax social movements posted 72% and 65% more negative contents compared to average negative sentiments of global COVID-19 related posts during the monitored period. Moreover, Anti-Vax related posts with “Hoax” keyword were found to have the highest level of social impact with 38,849 retweets and highest level of negativity (i.e., sentiment score of 0.87). We found out that Pro-Vax community engages in social conflict with Anti-Vaxxers referring them as ignorant (i.e., average sentiment Score 0.91), stupid (i.e., average sentiment Score 0.89), and confused (i.e., average sentiment Score 0.88). Most importantly, the social conflict detection system reveals possible locations of conflict.
