Yes I too am afflicted Allan but I cheer up considering my moment in time is a bird in the mead hall flying in and out while the noble fighters drink feast and boast. As I age I have decided governments are impossible to control and intelligent people pretend they do so long as they get the goodies they want. In Anatomy of Revolution Crane-Britton noted when an economy on the rise experiences too great a fall revolution results.

We all have our moments of skepticism. The thing I am beginning to see here is a "critical mass of understanding." In many ways, I get a sense of relief knowing that I am not alone in these concerns.

Individualized Sovereignty is ultimately going to be the answer to all the Globalism. Freedom:

Those who are bold enough, may claim it, are courageous enough to live it and made if stern enough substance to defend it.
